Hello! My name is Paola Baltazar Salcedo and I was born in Berkeley CA. For the first three years of my life, I lived in Oakland until my family decided we should move away. When I was about four, I moved to Lathrop CA where I’ve lived most of my life and currently reside. I am the youngest of three sisters and I currently live with them along with my two parents. I am also fortunate to have two pet budgies who are very playful and have a ton of personality.

I enjoy many art related activities such as drawing, painting, and occasionally sculpting. Besides my art hobbies, I spent the rest of my free time watching Youtube videos, spending time with my family and my boyfriend, and going out with my friends. I enjoy spending time alone where I can work on personal art projects that I want to complete to better my skills. I also enjoy simply watching something such as a show or a youtube channel of my choice to get away for a while. However, I also enjoy social activities a lot as well since I can connect with new people or those who are close to me. I enjoy spending time with those who I am close with as much as I can during the week, but we are usually all busy and don’t have time to do so we compensate on the weekends.

Other subjects that capture my interests greatly are Psychology and Astronomy. Whenever I get the chance, I read books that talk about Abnormal Psychology, psychological disorders, and how the mind works and develops. My interest in Astronomy is not fulfilled most times due to my lack of equipment with things such as telescopes. However, whenever I get the chance, I go to events where people take their telescopes, set them up, and allow people to look into them and learn about both the telescope itself along with how it works and about what we are looking at with it.

Currently I am a student at the University of the Pacific where I hope to learn more about myself and about my major of choice, Studio Art.
