Knowledge is obtaining information or skills from experience and or by having it taught to you. It gives you a foundation of knowing what the real world is and what it has. Without it, you can not build from it and you cannot connect with others. Not knowing what certain things are or how certain things feel can make it difficult to make art that people will be able to relate to and understand. Creativity however is what you can add to the knowledge that you have obtained. Creativity is an outlet that allows you to extend the knowledge you have and make it into something appealing such as a painting or a film. Knowledge allows you to take a concept or something that exists in the real world and with creativity, turn it into something that is expressive and meaningful to many. Knowledge and creativity go hand in hand in art because you cannot have one and not have the other.
