Craft is an important part of art not just because if done well your project looks nice. The importance comes in when one can tell how much time one put into their work. The quality of ones work says a lot about the person and their take on art. Craft communicates the personality of a person without them realizing it does. For example, someone who is chaotic typically tends to make chaotic work where as someone who is calm and collected tends to make neat and clean work. We cannot help all of this as it happens naturally and without our control. Therefore, when making art, one has to keep in mind that the craftsmanship  will not only be looked at in regards to how well the project appears to the viewer because it communicates so much more than just that. Their personality will shine through on their work and those who make art will eventually need to come to terms with that.
